Virginia Field Corn IPM Source

Welcome to the Virginia Field Corn IPM Source. This web site was designed and developed by R. R. Youngman and C. A. Laub to address the integrated pest management (IPM) needs and questions of anyone with an interest in better managing insect pests of field corn in Virginia. The major insect pests of field corn in Virginia are corn borers, cutworms, armyworms, corn rootworms, white grubs, and to a lesser extent wireworms and seedcorn maggot. Of this pest group, white grubs, wireworms and seedcorn maggot are not controlled by the insect killing events in transgenic corn hybrids. Use the Site Contents below to access the pages on this web site.
